India has signed a contract with Bharat Electronics Limited to procure two advanced mountain radars for the Air Force. These indigenously developed systems will strengthen air defense capabilities, especially in challenging terrains. The initiative also reduces reliance on foreign technology while boosting domestic defense manufacturing.
