Spanish defense company Indra has successfully trialed its Nemus AESA radar mounted on Leopard main battle tanks to enhance their effectiveness against contemporary threats, including drones. The radar, known for its compact size and lightweight design, is capable of identifying decoys, withstanding electronic interference, and operating under tough environmental conditions. Conducted at the Spanish Army’s Armored Units Instruction Center in Zaragoza, the tests focused on tracking drones, projectiles, and other anti-armor dangers. These trials followed an earlier evaluation held in July 2024 at the Army’s Radio Evaluation and Experimentation Center in Guadalajara.
