Under a new contract, Iraq will receive KUH-1 Surion utility helicopters from Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI). The $92.7 million deal, which involves two helicopters, represents KAI’s first Surion sale to Iraq. According to South Korean media, the aircraft will be delivered by March 2029, marking a new milestone in the defense relationship between the two countries.
