Ireland has finalized a €91.7 million ($95.8 million) deal to purchase four Airbus H145 helicopters to modernize the Irish Air Corps fleet. These helicopters will replace the aging EC135 models, which are scheduled for retirement by 2027. The new H145s will serve as training platforms under the national air support unit for police and security, preparing pilots for more advanced tactical aircraft.
