The move reflects the vision of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who has urged the rapid digitization of defense systems with AI integration. His directive highlights the importance of technological adoption to strengthen Kazakhstan’s security posture.
Deputy Defense Minister Darkhan Akhmediev confirmed the initiative, emphasizing that the new unit is a direct response to the president’s call for innovation.
