The Royal Netherlands Navy received its first Vlissingen-class mine countermeasure vessel under the Belgian-Dutch rMCM program. The 12-ship initiative replaces aging minehunters with drone-equipped platforms capable of deploying uncrewed surface, underwater, and aerial systems for mine detection and neutralization.
