The Danish Coastal Rescue Service has ordered seven new Sjøbjørn 71 vessels from Norwegian manufacturer Maritime Partner. These boats will be designated as Danish Rescue Vessels (DRV) and are expected to support over 600 missions per year. The DRVs will be stationed across seven strategic locations, including Anholt, Gedser, and Rønne, and will handle tasks such as salvage, emergency response, and maritime assistance.
