OCCAR has signed a co-funding agreement on behalf of several European nations for the next phase of the REACT II airborne electronic warfare program led by Indra. Participating states include Spain, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Poland, the Netherlands, and France. REACT II focuses on developing modular airborne electronic attack systems adaptable to different aircraft and mission profiles. The €69-million program is supported by national funding and up to €40 million from the European Commission. Technologies under development include AESA antennas, digital RF memory, beamforming, and electronic warfare command-and-control systems.
