Seeking to strengthen air power, Poland has committed $3.8B in upgrading F-16s to Block 72 standards. The modernization covers sensors, simulators, infrastructure, and EW systems. Conducted largely in Bydgoszcz with Lockheed Martin, the program enhances NATO alignment and prepares Poland’s air force for integration with F-35s, Abrams tanks, and Apache helicopters.
