Pratt & Whitney, a division of RTX, has landed a $1.5-billion contract to maintain and enhance the engines of the US Air Force’s F-22 Raptor fleet. Spanning three years, the agreement includes readiness upgrades and cost reductions for over 400 F119 engines, which together have logged more than 900,000 flight hours.
