Rune Technologies has joined Anduril Industries in supporting the US Army’s $99.6 million Next-Generation Command and Control (NGC2) prototype, currently tested with the 4th Infantry Division. Rune contributes its TyrOS platform, which enhances tactical logistics planning by processing battlefield sensor data even in degraded communications environments. The system prioritizes essential data, identifies short connectivity windows, and transmits information via bandwidth-efficient mesh networks. It also shifts between edge computing and cloud resources depending on network conditions. NGC2 aims to unify command systems into a single architecture enhanced by AI-driven decision support tools.
