Russia’s Defense Ministry has accepted a large batch of upgraded Su-57 fifth-generation fighter jets produced by United Aircraft Corporation under Rostec. The enhanced aircraft incorporate improved avionics, sensor fusion systems, and expanded weapons integration tailored to modern combat conditions. Designed as a successor to the Su-27 and MiG-29, the Su-57 is capable of engaging aerial, ground, and maritime targets using precision-guided munitions and advanced missiles. The jet reaches speeds up to Mach 2, operates at altitudes of 20,000 meters, and has a combat range of approximately 4,500 kilometers. Reports indicate Moscow is exploring export opportunities with nations such as Iran, Ethiopia, and Algeria, while also examining prospects for localized production partnerships abroad.
