Saab and Clavister have jointly launched TactiGate XD, a cross-domain cybersecurity solution combining Saab’s TactiGuard with Clavister’s CyberArmour firewall. The system is designed to secure communication and information-sharing across multiple classified networks.
TactiGate XD allows soldiers to exchange mission-critical data safely between domains while enforcing strict access controls. It prevents unauthorized use of defense systems, blocks denial-of-service attacks, and limits malware exposure. Its features include protocol inspection, dynamic routing, and encrypted tunnels, ensuring resilient communication.
Built to meet NATO standards, the platform integrates AI-driven anomaly detection that operates without reliance on cloud systems, preserving data privacy. The layered security includes strong encryption, multi-factor authentication, and protection for autonomous platforms against hijacking attempts.
By consolidating multiple cybersecurity functions into one device, TactiGate XD reduces size, weight, power usage, and installation complexity—making it highly adaptable for defense environments where resources are limited. The system represents the next step in Saab and Clavister’s ongoing partnership.
