Spain has finalized an agreement with the NATO Eurofighter and Tornado Management Agency (NETMA) and Germany-based contractors for 25 new Eurofighter jets under the Halcon II program. The deal includes 21 single-seat and 4 twin-seat aircraft, intended to replace part of Spain’s aging F-18 fleet. Following a 2022 order of 20 jets, this latest acquisition will raise Spain’s total Eurofighter count to 115, with first deliveries anticipated in 2030 to strengthen national air capabilities.
