Sri Lanka is enhancing its air force with the acquisition of American and Pakistani aircraft. The purchase includes eight Bell 206 helicopters in the TH-57 Sea Ranger military variant from the US and one FT-7 trainer version of the Chengdu J-7 fighter jet from Pakistan. This move aims to strengthen the nation’s aerial operational capacity.
