Turkish shipbuilder STM has commenced construction of three Ada-class corvettes for the Royal Malaysian Navy, following a contract signed in June. A steel-cutting ceremony was held at STM’s facility in Istanbul, marking the official start of the production process. These Littoral Mission Ships (LMS) are expected to be delivered by mid-2028 and will be deployed by Malaysia for a broad range of maritime operations.
