Embraer and Valkyrie Aero are enhancing the A-29 Super Tucano with a new counter-drone capability designed to improve its effectiveness against unmanned threats. The upgrade integrates Valkyrie’s Gunslinger system, which adds advanced processing and real-time tactical decision support to the aircraft. By improving the “Find, Fix, Finish” targeting cycle, the system works with existing sensors to detect and engage hostile drones more efficiently. The solution is designed to be scalable, allowing operators to adapt the aircraft to evolving drone tactics on modern battlefields.
