Sweden has contracted Saab to deliver an undisclosed number of AUV62-MR autonomous underwater vehicles for mine detection operations. These AUVs will support the navy in reconnaissance missions by scanning the seabed and producing high-resolution sonar maps to detect and identify potential threats, including underwater mines.
