Sweden has signed a contract with Rheinmetall to supply Mk82 bombs for its Jas 39 Gripen fighter aircraft, aiming to strengthen the Air Force’s ground attack capabilities. Valued at over 100 million Swedish kronor (roughly $9 million), the munitions are expected to be delivered in the second quarter of this year. The Mk82s are compatible with both Gripen C/D and E variants.
