Just before a scheduled visit by President Donald Trump, the US State Department approved a $1.4 billion arms deal with the UAE. The package includes six CH-47F Chinook helicopters and associated equipment worth $1.32 billion. The agreement supports US foreign policy and national security interests, according to the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs.
