Ukraine has unveiled its new TOLOKA underwater drone family at Defense Tech Valley 2025, showcasing a major step in the nation’s domestic defense innovation. The reveal highlights Kyiv’s determination to advance indigenous technologies capable of supporting its ongoing conflict needs while building long-term resilience in the defense sector.
The TOLOKA line made its public debut on September 19 and includes three drone variants, each designed for different mission profiles. The largest in the series boasts a strike range of up to 2,000 kilometers (1,240 miles), extending Ukraine’s ability to project force deep into contested areas.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, the smallest model, the TLK-150, is tailored for stealth missions. Its design emphasizes low observability, making it an effective tool for asymmetric warfare operations in hostile maritime environments. With this introduction, Ukraine adds a flexible underwater strike capability to its growing portfolio of unmanned systems.
