The US State Department has approved a potential $280-million foreign military sale to Jordan for Ku-band Multi-Function Radio Frequency Systems and associated equipment. The radar provides continuous 360-degree airspace surveillance, enabling detection and tracking of rockets, artillery, mortars, and unmanned aerial threats. Integrated with command-and-control networks, the system enhances Jordan’s layered air defense capability and strengthens national security resilience.
