Raytheon has secured a $580 million follow-on contract from the U.S. Navy for its Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band (NGJ-MB) systems. The deal includes production of jammer pod shipsets, spare parts, and support gear, some of which will also go to the Royal Australian Air Force. Deliveries and services will extend through 2028. This builds on a previous $590 million agreement signed in December to continue the system’s development.
