AeroVironment, Inc. has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hans Christian Andersen Airport in Odense, Denmark, home to the UAS Denmark Test Center. The agreement seeks to jointly utilize the center’s extensive airspace and advanced testing facilities to support AeroVironment’s uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) demonstration, mission training, and customer integration efforts throughout the region.
This partnership aims to foster joint research and development (R&D) initiatives and accelerate the growth of the UAS Denmark Test Center as a regional hub for cutting-edge UAS innovation, evaluation, and operational readiness.
Building on AeroVironment’s February 2025 Framework Agreement with the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO), under which it provides advanced UAS, training, and lifecycle support to enhance the Danish Armed Forces’ ISR capabilities, this MOU further underscores AeroVironment’s commitment to delivering scalable and proven UAS solutions.
By formalizing this collaboration, AeroVironment continues to strengthen its global partnerships and operational support, ensuring allied forces have the necessary tools and training to maintain readiness in ever-changing environments.
