Leidos has secured a follow-on contract worth approximately $248 million from the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) to support the development of unmanned and automated maritime systems. The five-year, single-award task order will focus on design and engineering services for autonomous technologies used in maritime intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
Under the agreement, Leidos will help advance systems designed to improve maritime monitoring, information gathering and operational awareness. The work will support the integration and development of unmanned capabilities for naval operations, helping the U.S. Navy explore more flexible approaches to surveillance and data collection. The contract highlights the growing role of autonomous systems in modern naval missions and the continued investment in advanced maritime technologies.
