In a move to advance electronic warfare resilience, Ukraine has introduced the Buntar-3 UAV, designed to operate in environments with high signal disruption. Developed by Buntar Aerospace, this AI-powered drone can navigate and perform reconnaissance without GPS assistance.
The vertical take-off-and-landing platform offers a flight endurance of 3.5 hours and an 80 km range. Its onboard sensors allow target detection up to 15 kilometers, even in GPS-denied zones. The new drone reflects Ukraine’s strategic focus on autonomous systems that rely less on external signals, ensuring more effective intelligence gathering under electronic attack.
