Czech company LPP Holding has launched the “Hornet,” a self-operating unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) designed to assist in military logistics tasks such as transporting ammunition and evacuating the wounded. The vehicle features autonomous navigation technology that enables it to traverse unknown terrain, plan efficient routes, and avoid obstacles independently. Its adaptable platform can also be configured for roles in combat, reconnaissance, medical evacuation, and missions involving chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear threats—enhancing both mission support and troop protection.
