A Ukrainian-American investment consortium, MITS Capital, has announced the creation of a new Danish-Ukrainian defense enterprise, consolidating several of Ukraine’s leading drone and defense technology firms under one umbrella. The company, named MITS Industries, aims to accelerate the development and delivery of cutting-edge systems for air, land, and maritime operations.

The new venture unites some of Ukraine’s most prominent technology players: Tencore, a specialist in unmanned ground robots; Infozahyst, a signals intelligence (SIGINT) provider with more than two decades of experience; Unwave, one of the country’s largest producers of electronic warfare (EW) systems; and a major air drone manufacturer that remains undisclosed. Acting as both investor and coordinator, MITS Capital will guide the initiative’s strategic direction while ensuring funding for large-scale projects.

MITS Industries plans to operate on a “drone-as-a-service” model, enabling mass production of advanced drones and counter-drone technologies to meet battlefield demands. The company projects revenues exceeding $200 million by 2026, underscoring the commercial potential of this collaboration. By combining expertise across different domains, the new entity seeks to position itself as a global leader in unmanned and electronic warfare systems.

This development comes at a time when Ukraine’s defense industry is rapidly expanding. The Ukrainian government forecasts that overall industry capacity could exceed $35 billion by 2025, with private-sector output already outpacing domestic needs. This trend strengthens Ukraine’s readiness to boost defense exports, even as the country continues to meet the urgent needs of its armed forces.
