Exosens has secured its largest-ever drone imaging contract, supplying thousands of compact thermal camera cores to a European air defense developer. These advanced sensors will be integrated into interceptor drones, enabling real-time detection, tracking, and engagement of aerial threats. The development reflects a growing shift toward embedding high-performance imaging systems directly into platforms across air, land, and maritime domains. Such onboard capabilities improve autonomy, accelerate response times, and reduce reliance on external control systems. In parallel, Exosens is expanding its presence in Europe’s night vision sector. It has been selected to deliver over 200,000 image intensifier tubes for a German-led program worth around €1 billion, covering large-scale deployment of night vision goggles. The company also secured a separate contract to supply 17,000 monocular night vision devices to Spain, reinforcing its role in major modernization initiatives.
