US-German autonomy software firm Auterion and Ukraine’s Airlogix have formed Auterion Airlogix Joint Venture GmbH to produce AI-guided unmanned aerial systems. Announced at the Munich Security Conference with senior German and Ukrainian officials present, the partnership merges Ukrainian combat-proven drone platforms with NATO-standard AI autonomy software. Production will occur in Germany to meet procurement standards and ensure supply chain reliability. Kyiv has requested thousands of systems, marking one of Europe’s largest drone production commitments for Ukraine.
