A German firm, SWARM Biotactics, is pioneering a new approach to covert intelligence and surveillance by transforming live cockroaches into mobile swarm robots. Each insect is equipped with a miniature backpack containing advanced electronics, allowing them to take on missions that conventional drones and robots often find too hazardous or inaccessible.
