Indra Group has signed an agreement with engineering consultancy Tresca to support the development of a new drone manufacturing facility in León. The site will be located in the Villadangos del Páramo industrial estate and is intended to expand Spain’s domestic production of unmanned aerial systems and loitering munitions. Once operational, the facility is expected to create around 200 jobs and strengthen Spain’s defense manufacturing base. The project forms part of Indra’s broader strategy to scale production of defense technologies including drones, air defense systems, and land platforms.
