Estonian defense technology firm Milrem Robotics has signed a teaming agreement with Australia’s EOS Defence Systems to jointly advance unmanned ground vehicle capabilities and combat autonomy solutions. The partnership aims to combine Milrem’s expertise in UGV platforms with EOS’ strengths in weapon systems and sensors, creating integrated, network-centric solutions for future battlefield operations.

Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate on research and development to enable seamless integration of weapons, sensors, and command-and-control systems with Milrem’s unmanned vehicles. Planned capabilities include counter-drone systems, missile and grenade launchers, large-caliber weapon stations, and laser-based technologies designed for deployment on robotic ground platforms.

The collaboration will also focus on co-developing new products by sharing technical expertise and accelerating the transition from development to commercialization. By aligning their complementary capabilities, Milrem and EOS aim to shorten deployment timelines and deliver mission-ready UGV solutions tailored to evolving military requirements.

Initial market efforts will target customers in the Middle East and North Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, and Europe. Priority countries include the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, and selected European programs. The companies also plan to explore future opportunities in the United States while jointly pursuing new markets and coordinated marketing initiatives.
