Ondas Holdings has announced an $80-million agreement to acquire Roboteam, an Israeli company known for designing rugged, multi-mission unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). The acquisition will significantly expand Ondas’ autonomous systems portfolio by integrating advanced ground robotics with its existing aerial drone, counter-UAS, and intelligence technology offerings.

Roboteam manufactures a range of UGVs tailored for bomb disposal, intelligence collection, and high-risk military operations. Its platforms vary in size from compact 1.5-kilogram units to heavy-duty systems weighing more than 1,000 kilograms. These robotic vehicles are currently fielded by armed forces in over 30 countries, including the US, Israel, and other major defense customers. The company also provides Roboteam HUB, a command-and-control suite that links multiple robotic assets into a unified operational network for complex missions.

Ondas expects the acquisition to generate strong near-term financial growth, with projected gains of $3–4 million in revenue during the fourth quarter of 2025 and at least $30 million in revenue during 2026. The move is part of Ondas’ broader strategy to position itself as a key provider of integrated unmanned systems for defense, homeland security, and industrial markets.

Roboteam recently secured more than $20 million in new orders from an existing military customer, with deliveries planned through fiscal year 2026. These contracts highlight continuing global demand for robotic ground systems capable of operating in dangerous or contested environments, reinforcing Roboteam’s value to Ondas’ expanding defense technology lineup.
