Croatian defense company Orqa has entered into a strategic partnership with the Red River Army Depot in Texas to expand the production of unmanned aerial systems for the US military. Under this agreement, the depot will manufacture drones while Orqa provides the necessary technology and production expertise. This collaboration aligns with broader US efforts to strengthen domestic defense manufacturing capabilities. Orqa continues to maintain its main production base in Croatia, where it utilizes advanced technologies such as 3D printing and radio-frequency testing. The company specializes in first-person view drone systems, including communication devices and real-time video transmission technologies. With an annual production capacity of 280,000 units, Orqa plans to scale up to over one million drones through global partnerships. This expansion highlights the increasing demand for unmanned systems in modern warfare and the importance of international cooperation in defense production.
