Poland will improve the operational readiness of its 24 Bayraktar TB2 drones through a new logistics and service contract with Turkish producer Baykar. The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) initiated the agreement, which provides three years of maintenance for the tactical drones. The contract may be extended for two more years, according to the NSPA. This move is expected to strengthen NATO’s eastern flank as geopolitical tensions in Europe increase.
