Turkish defense firm Roketsan has unveiled its latest innovation for ground warfare — an unmanned robotic platform named KOZ. This new system is designed to operate autonomously or through remote control, providing enhanced tactical support in combat zones.
KOZ stands out with its quadrupedal structure, resembling a mechanical dog, which grants it excellent balance and mobility on challenging or uneven terrain. It is engineered to transport four guided munitions directly into high-risk areas, minimizing the need for human exposure in dangerous combat scenarios.
With a mission endurance of two hours, KOZ is built to conduct critical tasks with precision and stability. Its rugged design and advanced maneuverability reflect a growing trend in defense technology—one that prioritizes autonomy, remote engagement, and reduced risk to personnel on the ground.
