Scout AI has teamed up with Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions (HMS) to introduce NOMAD, a new-generation unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) powered by the Fury autonomy system.
This marks the second UGV platform to adopt Scout’s autonomy suite, but the first to feature the company’s fastest foundation model to date. The system is designed to enhance unmanned vehicle operations by integrating cutting-edge autonomy software.
The reference to “fastest” is not about the UGV’s physical driving capability but rather its autonomous decision-making speed. With reduced latency, quicker decision loops, and improved responsiveness, the NOMAD system optimizes efficiency in real-world scenarios.
Importantly, the architecture is built to run on smaller, low-power platforms, making it suitable for missions where compactness, endurance, and adaptability are key. This positions NOMAD as a versatile option for next-generation unmanned operations.
