GuRu Wireless, Uniquest Corporation, and Arion are collaborating to develop a drone system capable of sustained ISR missions in South Korea. The initiative integrates Arion’s autonomy software with GuRu’s 24 GHz wireless power transmission technology, using a ground-based phased-array transmitter to energize drones mid-flight. The goal is to overcome battery endurance limitations common to small unmanned systems. Demonstrations and validation tests are planned, including a showcase at Drone Show Korea 2026 featuring simultaneous wireless charging of two drones.
