Textron Systems has delivered its MK 4.8 Hybrid Quad Aerosonde drone to the US Army under the Future Tactical Uncrewed Aircraft Systems program. The transfer was completed through the DoD’s formal DD-250 handover process. Army teams will now undergo training at Redstone Test Center to certify operators and instructors, with training expected to wrap up by late January.
