CAE and Leonardo are strengthening their partnership to deliver advanced training capabilities for M-346 Master aircraft operators through improved digital simulation and integrated mission preparation systems. The expanded cooperation will introduce Live, Virtual and Constructive training methods, allowing pilots to combine real flight experience with realistic simulated environments. These technologies are designed to prepare aviators for complex combat scenarios before transitioning to frontline aircraft. The companies will also explore future upgrades for the M-346 platform, including advanced digital configurations capable of supporting artificial intelligence-based systems and autonomous mission technologies. The effort builds on the International Flight Training School in Italy, where both companies currently support military pilot training using aircraft, simulators, and mission rehearsal technologies. The initiative reflects the changing requirements of modern air forces, where pilots must develop advanced tactical skills to operate alongside increasingly automated combat systems.
