BAE Systems, Boeing, and Saab have announced a partnership to provide a new advanced pilot training solution for the Royal Air Force based on Boeing’s T-7 aircraft platform.The proposed system would combine advanced jet trainers with digital simulation tools, allowing RAF pilots to develop skills required for operating modern combat aircraft such as the Typhoon and F-35.The companies plan to establish a UK-based assembly and integration capability, which would strengthen domestic aerospace production and create opportunities for local suppliers.The training system is designed to support future aircraft requirements by allowing upgrades as combat aviation technology continues to evolve.The partnership follows progress in the US T-7A Red Hawk program, where the aircraft has advanced toward production following successful development milestones.
