Lockheed Martin has secured a $4.76-billion contract from the United States Army for the production of PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement interceptors. These advanced missiles feature dual-pulse rocket motors and enhanced hit-to-kill capabilities against ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and aerial threats. The contract, heavily supported by foreign military sales, reflects growing global demand and includes partnerships with international firms such as Diehl Defence and Sener to expand production capacity and supply chain resilience.
