The video, released on November 9, offers the first clear confirmation of the Su-57’s ability to carry KH-58UShK missiles internally, a major step in advancing its Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD) role.
The promotional clip, timed just before the Dubai Airshow 2025, keeps international attention on Russia’s fifth-generation fighter as speculation grows about potential export prospects and ongoing modernization efforts. The footage showcases the test airframe T-50-9 “509” performing dynamic maneuvers with its bay doors open, combining internal anti-radiation weapons with short-range missiles on its external hardpoints — a configuration rarely seen in stealth platforms.
This marks the first time the Su-57’s forward main bay has been publicly shown carrying full-scale armaments. The KH-58UShK missiles, designed for targeting enemy radar systems, are integrated using Vympel’s UVKU-50 family of ejection units — specially engineered to launch heavy munitions from the aircraft’s deep tandem bays.
