Lockheed Martin plans to invest more than $150 million to expand its missile production facility in Pike County, Alabama. The investment will increase manufacturing capacity for several major US weapons systems, including THAAD interceptors, Javelin anti-tank missiles, Hellfire missiles, JASSM cruise missiles, and Long-Range Anti-Ship Missiles. The facility, which already employs more than 800 workers, will add new jobs and strengthen the local defense manufacturing workforce through training programs and partnerships with local institutions.
