BAE Systems’ Information and Electronic Warfare Systems division, based in Hudson, New Hampshire, has secured a significant $1.743 billion firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to produce and deliver up to 55,000 Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System II (APKWS II) rockets.
The agreement covers Full-Rate Production Lots 13 through 17 and will supply the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, and allied nations through Foreign Military Sales. Deliveries are set to continue until December 2031, ensuring a steady flow of one of America’s most dependable precision-guided strike weapons.
This award stands as one of the largest procurement deals for APKWS II to date, highlighting the Pentagon’s commitment to expanding stockpiles of cost-effective, combat-proven munitions. With a potential value of $1.743 billion, the deal underscores the weapon system’s growing role in modern operations.
By spanning five consecutive production lots, the contract provides long-term stability for BAE’s manufacturing base and ensures that both U.S. and partner forces maintain reliable access to precision-guided rockets for the next decade.
