Raytheon, a division of RTX, has received two contracts totaling $676 million (€626 million) from the U.S. Army for continued production of the TOW missile system. The awards consist of a $430 million contract for FY 2023 and another $246 million for 2024. Enhancements to the TOW system include updated fuzing and target detection, which were recently validated in acceptance testing of the latest TOW 2B variant.
