Safran and Bharat Electronics Limited will establish a 50:50 joint venture to produce the HAMMER (AASM) precision-guided munition in India. The initiative supports India’s self-reliance goals and will supply guidance kits for the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. The weapon is integrated with India’s Dassault Rafale fleet and offers stand-off strike capability up to 70 km.
