The US State Department has cleared a proposed $3.5 billion sale of AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM missiles to Saudi Arabia. The deal includes 1,000 missiles, 50 guidance sections, and support services, with RTX as the main contractor. Congressional approval is still required to finalize the transaction.
