The U.S. State Department has approved the sale of missiles to Turkey, including 53 AIM-120C-8 AMRAAMs and 60 AIM-9X Block II Sidewinders, with guidance sections and support equipment. Valued at a combined $304 million, the deal is intended to reinforce Turkey’s air defense capabilities and strengthen NATO interoperability.
